Summer at York Art Gallery

Discover the artworks displayed at York Art Gallery through storytelling, creative activities and play inspired by the gallery’s collections and the exhibition Making Waves: The Art of Japanese Woodblock Print. The summer programme includes weekly interactive Gallery Tales for young children, outdoor play in the Artist Garden, family relief-printing workshops, weekend stamp-and-ink activities, live printmaking demonstrations, art talks and daily drawing stations. The programme concludes with a two-day celebration featuring music, workshops, family activities, food and drink at York Art Gallery and York Museum Gardens.
