What’s On:
Cafe Craft Hour
Mondays, 11:00–12:00
Drop in for relaxed crafting and conversation in our friendly café setting.
Drama Workshop
Mondays, 1:00–2:30pm
A fun, inclusive session exploring acting, writing, and stagecraft.
You’re welcome to attend just the craft hour, just the workshop, or both.
Drama workshop includes:
Explore plays through discussion, performance, and storytelling
Opportunities to contribute to larger creative projects
Attend live productions and even perform, if you’d like
A welcoming, no-pressure space for creativity and connection
Where:
York Theatre Royal, St. Leonard’s Place, York, YO1 7HD
Cost:
Free of charge
Who it’s for:
Adults (18+) in York and surrounding areas who have experience of poor mental health — whether you access services, have never acted before, or feel theatre isn’t for you. If you’re curious, creative, or just want to try something new, you’re very welcome.
Accessibility:
The workshop room is accessed via stairs. Wheelchair access can be arranged with advance notice via neighbouring spaces — please inform the Box Office of any access requirements when booking.
