About This Event
THE TIRITH are a genuine Prog band from the 70s, who reformed in 2010 to fulfil the dream, releasing their debut album “Tales from the Tower” to critical acclaim in 2015. The band play an original brand of guitar-based Prog supplemented by keyboards.
Their influences are very wide, centred on the songs of Tim Cox and Richard Cory, they can sound like a Prog Metal band one moment and a folk rock band the next, with many styles between and alongside. Following on from their appearance at the Nene Valley Rock Festival in Sept 2024, the band are releasing a new album in May 2026 titled Quetzalcoatl and are doing gigs in support of this.
