About This Event
The Witches Coven is the annual anniversary celebration of the Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel — a gathering of witches, wanderers and lovers of the mysterious in the heart of York. This unique event invites visitors to step into a world of dark magic, curiosity and playful mischief, where guests are welcomed with ritual sage blessings, magical potions and the chance to explore the hotel’s spellbinding themed rooms.
Throughout the evening, visitors can enjoy entertainment, surprises and the opportunity to dress in their most magical attire, with prizes awarded for the most creative costumes. As the coven gathers, participants are invited to wander through York’s ancient streets and discover some of the city’s most haunting and atmospheric locations.
The event is free and open to everyone. Guests of all ages, genders and mystical creatures are welcome to join the coven and celebrate York’s love for the strange, the magical and the wonderfully unusual. Visitors can also enjoy special offers and experiences from local restaurants, attractions, shops and bars across the city during the celebrations.
