About This Event
Since its sell-out debut in 2013, the Altra Yorkshire Marathon has become one of the UK's most popular long-distance events. The scenic, flat, and fast route leads runners through the historic heart of York—passing the iconic York Minster—and out into the picturesque local countryside before returning for a grand finish at the University of York. Known for its "electric atmosphere" and "unreal support," the event is a flagship of the Yorkshire Marathon Festival, which also includes a 10-mile race and a team relay.
